The first sod was cut on Monday, January 9th, 2006 at 10.00am by Richard and Neeta Burman, Mayor & Mayoress of Oswestry Borough. The project is planned for completion by the end July 2006.

The timber framed building will be made of renewable materials, lined with Warmcel insulation (made from recycled newspaper) and fitted with solar panels.
