This route crosses a field with livestock, obviously dogs must be on leads, but it will not be suitable for noisy or unruly dogs even on a lead.
Go over Park Mill Bridge, through some woodland, into the field and turn left.

Follow the broad track keeping to the left. When the broad track curves to the right, continue straight onto the narrow track towards the stile.
Climb over the stile and across the field to the next stile. This field usually has livestock, mostly sheep or cows. If the cows have calves with them they can become aggressive if you get too close. Keep close to the high hedge on the left!
At Park Mill Cottage:
Walks 5 & 6 - Route 5c - two ways across the common
Walks 9 & 13 - turn right and wak up the lane, then go to Route 9a - past Bromwich Park to Chain Lane
